My Solo

Last year I was in Hillside chorus. For the concert there was a solo. It was to the song “My Personal Code.” I wanted to try out for it, so I did. I was the only fifth grader who tried out. After long periods of time I got the part. I was so proud of myself. It was an honor to sing that in front of everyone. I sang like an angel on a winter morning singing with the birds.
