What is your favorite season and why?

Fall.  It is exciting to start a new school year.  Also, the weather is perfect!

What is your favorite food?

Anything chocolate

What is your favorite sport?

Football.  I especially love the Patriots.

Where were you educated?

I graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, ME in 1990 with a BA degree in Sociology.  I earned my Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine.  I am currently taking classes to become certified to be a principal at Plymouth State College.

Where did you live before Berlin?

After college, my wife and I lived in the Portland, ME area for about 4 years.  Right before moving to Berlin, we had been living on the ocean in Scarborough, ME right near Old Orchard Beach.

What is your favorite restaurant?

The Italian restaurant Bellini's in North Conway.

What is your favorite instrument?

The piano.  My wife and I have both played since we were kids.  Our son is taking lessons on it now.

How did you meet your wife?

We took an introductory Sociology class together our freshman year at Bates College.  We both ended up majoring in Sociology, so we had a lot of classes together all through college.

When did you first work at Hillside?

I moved to Berlin to become the K-6 school counselor in 1994.  I traveled between Brown, Bartlett, and Hillside School.  Two years later, I was able to be the full-time Hillside school counselor.

How do you like your new job as Assistant Principal?

I love it!

Now that you're Assistant Principal, do you think you are more respected?

No.  I still feel like I get a long great with students and teachers.

What is your favorite candy bar?

Peanut Butter cups!!

What is your favorite TV Show?

The West Wing
