The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
author: CS Lewis review by: BR
In October, our class was doing a book report. I read a book called The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It's a great book! In the beginning four kids, (Lucy, Peter, Susan, and Edmund) live with a professor in a big house. They were searching around the house when Lucy wandered off and found a wardrobe. When she enters the wardrobe, though, she is transported to a magical place. Here she meets a fun named Mr. Tumnus. When she meets up with her friends again she tells them about the wardrobe, but they don't believe her. Lucy gets very upset and angry so she runs off crying. Edmund didn't know if he should believe her, so he find the wardrobe and explores it himself. He meets the white witch. She wants to kill Aslan (the good lion ruler) so she will be Queen of Narnia forever. She has the power to turn kids or anyone who disobeys her to stone and add them to her collection. Towards the end, Asland and the White Witch have a war and.... well, I can't give away the ending. If you like reading adventurous and exciting books, you'll like this book and the rest of the collection!
