The 6th graders played the role of one of their ancestors who immigrated to America. You will do a report about one of those ancestors.  You will make a doll of him or her.  At Immigration Night, you will dress up as him or her and go through Ellis Island to see if you are literate, fit, and healthy.  You will get food after you go through stations.  Make sure you don’t forget your passport!
